Sowing and germination
All types of mulberries are propagated by seeds. For growing in open ground they are sown in early April in a greenhouse (if indoor cultivation is planned, then with additional lighting lamps the sowing season is unimportant). During the first summer, the seedling grows 20-40 cm in height. For the winter, they are covered with leaves and paws of coniferous trees. Next spring, they are transplanted onto ridges with good humus soil and grown for 2-3 years. They are transplanted to a permanent place in the spring.
