Sowing and germination
Seeds are sown superficially in a loose substrate of 2 parts cactus soil, 1 part sand with a diameter of 1 mm and 1 part perlite. They are moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun at a temperature of 20-25°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. 1-2 months after germination, single leaves alternately appear from the cotyledons, and the cotyledons themselves dry out as they grow. , because seedlings do not need to “hibernate” for quite a long time (after all, they do not “molt”). In the first winter, young fritia continue to grow without hibernating, so it is not advisable to sow in the same container with other plants.
