Sowing and germination

The seeds are first carefully scarified and soaked in warm water for 2-3 days, then sown in loose nutrient soil (a mixture of sand with peat or coconut substrate) to a depth of 1 cm, moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun at a temperature of 27-35°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Seeds germinate unevenly and for a long time, from 1 month at temperatures close to 30°C to 6 months with temperature fluctuations, and sometimes more than 12 months.
