Sowing and germination
When sowing in spring, 2-3 months of seed stratification in damp sand at a temperature of 0 - 3°C is necessary. In order for the seeds to germinate at home, they need to create an artificial “winter”. To do this, place the seeds in a container with moist soil, sprinkle with a thin layer of the same moist soil, cover the container with a plastic bag with holes for ventilation and place in a cool place for a couple of months. The bottom shelf of the refrigerator is ideal for this; you can also place the container on the windowsill between the frames. Some seeds can germinate at the end of the stratification process. Then remove the container with stratified seeds from the refrigerator, sprinkle them with soil on top so that they are at a depth of about 1 cm, cover with glass or a plastic bag and keep in a bright place at room temperature. With regular spraying, there is practically no need to water the soil.
