Sowing and germination
Seeds are soaked for 2–3 hours weak solution of potassium permanganate or fungicide with the addition of stimulants (SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon), then they are sown to a depth of 0.5-1 cm in a light, loose substrate consisting of sand, peat, perlite and sprinkled with a layer of soil. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 22–26°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Shoots appear within 15–25 days. The maximum germination period can be more than 40 days. After the appearance of 2–3 true leaves, they are planted into individual 6 cm pots with a light substrate and drainage; after a year, 8–9 cm.
