Sowing and germination

Cheiridopsis seeds are very small, light brown or brownish, round or slightly oval. Seed germination in neat greenhouse conditions is usually about 60-80%. It is better to sow in autumn or early winter, and in the presence of stable lighting and moderate temperatures - year-round, avoiding intense summer heat. A sterile fine-grained mineral substrate based on fine washed sand, perlite, mineral chips and a small amount of sifted peat or coconut component is used. The seeds are distributed over the surface and are not buried. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a weak solution of potassium permanganate or biofungicide with the addition of a seed-safe growth stimulant according to its label directions, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant or seed-safe growth stimulant. The container is covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse. Germination is carried out in bright, diffused light and a temperature of about 18-24°C, without direct overheating under the sun.
