Sowing and germination

Natural seed germination is about 50%. To improve performance, the seeds are pre-soaked in warm water for 2-3 hours, then sown in a mixture of equal parts of peat and sand to a depth of 1-1.5 cm, moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun at a temperature of 20-25°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. The seeds germinate quickly, and within a few days the first leaves appear.
