Sowing and germination
Cotyledon seeds are very small, almost dusty, and ripen in dry multi-leaflets. It is not advisable to soak and wash such seeds - they are easily lost in liquid and damaged, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. Scarification and stratification are not required. Sowing is carried out superficially in a shallow container with a sandy substrate - the seeds are only slightly mixed with the top layer, without deepening. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon, covered with glass or film, or placed in a greenhouse and germinated in the light at a temperature of 17-21°C. The crops are ventilated daily; both waterlogging and drying out of the surface are unacceptable.
