Sowing and germination

Blossfeldia seeds are dusty, light brown, one of the smallest in the Cactus family. It is impossible and unnecessary to soak them, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. To awaken the seeds, they are placed for a week in a cold environment with a temperature of 5-8°C. Sowing is carried out superficially, without deepening, in a cactus substrate half diluted with fine sand. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a seed-safe growth stimulant according to its label directions, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant or seed-safe growth stimulant, covered with a film or placed in a greenhouse and germinated in the light, but not in direct sun. The germination temperature is maintained in the range of 25-30°C: at temperatures below 27°C, the risk of developing rot, the most dangerous enemy of cactus seedlings, increases significantly.
