Sowing and germination

Grahamia seeds are small, dark, ripen in dry boxes. It is impractical to soak such small seeds, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. Scarification and stratification are not required. Seeds are sown superficially, without embedding, on a thin layer of damp sand. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon, covered with glass or placed in a greenhouse and germinated at a temperature of 20-24°C. Under favorable conditions, the first shoots appear within 1-2 weeks, the main germination is usually completed within a month, and individual seeds may linger longer. Crops are constantly sprayed and ventilated regularly. Picking is carried out after the seedlings have become noticeably stronger, into separate small pots.
