Sowing and germination

Raphidophora seeds are small, dark, ripen in fused berry-like fruits of the cob. It is impractical to soak such small seeds, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. Scarification and stratification are not required. Seeds are sown in a light, loose substrate with the addition of sand, with minimal embedding. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a growth stimulator: balanced plant vitamin supplement, natural plant growth stimulant, amino-acid plant fertilizer, anti-stress adaptogen solution or root development stimulant, covered with a film or placed in a greenhouse and germinated in warmth and light at a temperature of 24-28°C. Under favorable conditions, the first shoots appear within 2 weeks, the main germination is usually completed within a month, and individual seeds may linger longer. Crops are regularly ventilated.
