Sowing and germination

Plumeria seeds are large, 3-6 cm long with a white membranous wing, dull yellow, ripen in paired oblong leaflets. Their shell is dense, so the seeds need pre-treatment before sowing. Scarification and stratification are not required. The seeds are kept for 1-2 hours in a 1% solution of potassium permanganate, then soaked for 12-24 hours in warm water with the addition of a seed-safe growth stimulant according to its label directions, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant or seed-safe growth stimulant. Then they are sown vertically into a loose substrate, with the wing up, so that the wing remains above the surface, and the seed itself is buried approximately halfway. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film or placed in a greenhouse and germinated in the light, but not in direct sun, at a temperature of 25-30°C. Under favorable conditions, the first shoots appear within a week, the main germination is completed in 1-3 weeks, and individual seeds may linger longer.
