Sowing and germination
Nananthus seeds are very small, dark, ripen in dry boxes that open when exposed to moisture. It is not advisable to soak such seeds, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. Scarification and stratification are not required. Sowing is carried out in a shallow bowl with a mixture of 1 part leaf soil and 2 parts coarse sand with perlite, with an interval of 2-3 mm between seeds, with light pressing and sprinkling with a thin layer of sand no more than 1 mm. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon, covered with a film or placed in a greenhouse and germinated in the light, but not under direct rays, at a temperature of 25-30°C.
