Sowing and germination

Before sowing, they are soaked for 12-24 hours in warm water or in a solution of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon until swelling. Scarification is usually not required, but it is useful to lightly file very hard seeds on the side, away from the embryo. Sowing is carried out in a sterile loose substrate of peat and sand to a depth of about 1.5 cm. The sowing is moistened with a spray bottle, covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse and germinated at a temperature of 25-30°C, preferably with bottom heating. Shoots appear in 1-3 weeks, quite amicably. The crops are ventilated daily and condensation is removed. Seedlings grow very quickly and after two months they show their caudex, so they are immediately grown in separate deep pots.
