Sowing and germination
Seeds are sown superficially in a mixture of light and loose substrate half diluted with sand (you can use a mixture of soil for cacti and sand in equal parts), lightly pressed in without sprinkling on top. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light at a temperature of 18-22°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Seeds have a low germination rate, usually the first shoots appear after 2-3 weeks, although they can hatch after 1 week under very favorable conditions, and vice versa, in the case of not the best conditions they can germinate up to 7 weeks. After the first shoots appear, the shelter is removed, and after about a month, when the young plants become stronger, grow to 1.5 cm in height and develop several true leaves, they are transplanted into separate pots.
