Sowing and germination

Before sowing, seeds are soaked for a couple of hours in warm water, then sown in a substrate composed of equal volumes of sand, peat and perlite. Cover the top with glass or plastic film and keep at a temperature of 25°C-30°C. On days 11-20, seedlings appear and containers with crops are transferred to a brightly lit place, protected from scorching sunlight. The cover is removed. When the seedlings have 3-4 leaves, they are picked and transferred to small pots for growing.
