Sowing and germination
Before sowing, they are soaked for 24-48 hours in warm water or in a solution of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon until swelling. Scarification is usually not required, but it is useful to lightly file down the side of very hard seeds. No stratification needed. Sowing is carried out in a sterile loose substrate of peat and sand to a depth of about 2 cm. The sowing is moistened with a spray bottle, covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse and germinated at a temperature of 25-30°C, preferably with bottom heating. Shoots appear in 2-4 weeks, quite amicably. The crops are ventilated daily and condensation is removed. Seedlings grow quickly, so planting them in separate deep pots is carried out immediately after the first pair of true leaves unfold.
