Sowing and germination

1: Seeds are sown in bowls, in boxes, in turf soil - 1 hour and sand - 1 hour. Sowing is carried out to a depth of no more than 5 mm. In some species, seed germination is light-dependent, so they are not embedded in the soil; the top of the bowl is covered with glass. Particular attention should be paid to watering, as seedlings easily die if overwatered. Shoots begin to appear from about the seventh day at a temperature of 18-20°C. When a pair of true leaves appears, the seedlings are planted, one copy at a time, into 7-centimeter pots. Composition of the earth mixture: turf - 1 tsp, humus - 1 tsp, sand - 1 tsp. 2: Eucalyptus is sown year-round. The soil for sowing should be light; the day before sowing, it is shed generously, the seeds are mixed with sand and sown on a slightly compacted surface.
