Sowing and germination

Seeds are sown superficially in a moist soil mixture (1 part peat, 2 parts turf soil, 1 part sand), or peat tablets, then sprinkled with a layer of peat (about 2 mm). Cover with film or glass, place in partial shade and germinate during the day at a temperature of 24-29°C, at night the temperature is reduced to 20-24°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Germination can take up to 3 months.
