Copiapoa MIXED - Copiapoa mix, random mixture of seeds of different species and varieties, Copiapoa.
Copiapoa is a genus of succulent plants in the cactus family (Cactaceae), comprising Chilean desert cacti distributed primarily in coastal and inland areas of the Atacama Desert. In nature, members of the genus occur on rocky slopes, coastal terraces, gravel plains, in dry valleys, and in places where rainfall is extremely scarce, while moisture from fogs and nighttime condensation plays a significant role.
The plants typically develop as spherical, short-cylindrical, columnar, or clumping cacti with prominent ribs, a woolly crown, and strong spines. The stem coloration is often green, gray-green, brownish-green, or glaucous, which helps the plants tolerate intense sun, dry air, and sharp temperature fluctuations.
Flowers in copiapoa are usually diurnal, funnel-shaped, yellow or lemon-yellow, appearing close to the top of the stem. After flowering, small fruits with small dark seeds form. The seeds in most species are small, so during sowing they are distributed on the surface or almost on the surface and require gentle moistening without excessive dampness.
