Sowing and germination

Seeds for sowing. Soak the seeds in clean water for 24 hours. Sow on the surface of a cactus seed-starting mix blended with an equal volume of sand; do not bury. Mist to moisten, cover to retain humidity, and germinate in light at 20-25 C. Ventilate regularly and keep the medium evenly moist while avoiding waterlogging and complete drying. Germination timing varies and may range from one day to about one week.
