Sowing and germination

Seeds are pre-soaked for 4-6 hours or with fungicide and then sown in a moist substrate consisting of leaf soil and river sand, poured on top of expanded clay previously scalded with boiling water. You can use the same seeding substrate as for adeniums. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 21-26°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. When propagating aloe from seeds, varietal characteristics may split. Seeds usually take 3-4 weeks to 2-3 months to germinate, depending on conditions. Young plants gradually become accustomed to lower humidity and brighter light. An alternative method of germinating seeds in distilled water or a 10% solution of growth stimulants is possible.
