Sowing and germination

A day or two before sowing, you need to soak the seeds in warm water. Then they are scarified - the seed shell is carefully wiped with a nail file, but it is important not to damage the inner part. Sowing is done in a peat-sand mixture, thoroughly moistened before sowing. The seed placement depth is equal to 0.5 cm. During germination, the substrate should always remain moist, but not waterlogged. Then the container with the crops is covered with a piece of glass or wrapped in a transparent plastic bag. The place where the pot with seeds is placed should be well lit, and the temperature should be maintained in the range of 20-25 degrees. When caring for crops, you should remove the cover every day for 10-15 minutes and if the soil begins to dry out, then spray it with a spray bottle. The first shoots may appear either after 10 days or after 4 months.
