Sowing and germination

Seeds are soaked for a day in warm water, and then deepened by 1 mm. into a mixture of perlite and peat. The air temperature should be kept within +20°C. With regular watering, sprouts appear within 1.5-2 months. They can be immediately transplanted into a pot placed closer to the light, and watered as the earthen clod dries out. Young plants are transplanted into a large container every spring, adults - no more than once every 2-3 years.
