Sowing and germination

Before sowing, scarification and soaking for 24 hours is recommended. Then the seeds are sown in a loose substrate to a depth of 0.5–1 cm, moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated at 22–25°C in diffused light. Regular ventilation is necessary, drying out and waterlogging should be avoided. Shoots appear within 10–20 days. The maximum germination period can be more than 40 days. After the emergence of seedlings, the cover is gradually removed, picking is carried out when the first true leaf appears. Young plants need bright light and careful watering.
