Sowing and germination

Seeds are pre-soaked in warm water for 24 hours, then sown superficially in a loose substrate of peat and sand and lightly sprinkled with a thin layer of sand on top, moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun at a temperature of 24-28°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. When shoots appear, the protective coating is completely removed. The room temperature is reduced to 20-21°C to avoid excessive stretching of the stems.
