Sowing and germination
Seeds are sown on the surface of universal soil or soil mixture of sand, peat and humus taken in equal parts with a small addition of crushed charcoal, without digging, but only slightly pressing each seed into the soil. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 25-28°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Shoots appear in 2-3 weeks. After 3-4 months, the young plants are transplanted into separate small pots with a capacity of 0.5 liters, at the bottom of which drainage made of expanded clay or pebbles is placed.
