Sowing and germination

The seeds are dusty, less than 1 mm long, light brown, formed in dry capsules. Sowing is carried out superficially, without deepening, on a sterile finely dispersed substrate based on peat and perlite. The seeds are evenly distributed over the surface and pressed lightly. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film or a lid, placed in a warm place with a temperature of 22-25°C in bright, diffused light. Daily ventilation is mandatory; moisturizing is done only from a spray bottle or through a tray. Shoots appear in 10-20 days, the minimum period is about 7 days, and the maximum possible period can exceed 35 days. After emergence of seedlings, the temperature drops to 16-18°C.
