Sowing and germination

Seeds are soaked in warm water for 24 hours. Then they are sown on the surface of a damp, loose substrate with a light sprinkling of sand. The container is covered with glass or film. Ventilation is carried out daily. The germination temperature is maintained at 20–22°C. Shoots appear in 4–6 weeks. After the formation of 2 true leaves, the seedlings are planted in separate containers. Uniform watering and protection from direct sun are provided for the proper development of seedlings.
