Sowing and germination

Seeds need a long period of stratification: kept for 3-4 months in a cold environment at a temperature of 4-5°C. At home, the seeds are placed in the refrigerator. Immediately before planting, soak in warm water or a solution of root or anti-stress adaptogen solution for 12 hours. A two-centimeter drainage layer is laid under the soil. Sowing is done in a loose, moist substrate to a depth of 0.5–1 cm. The container is covered with film or glass and ventilated daily. The germination temperature is maintained at 18–22°C. At best, only half of the seeds germinate. Shoots appear in 20–40 days. The minimum germination period is 20 days, the maximum can exceed 60 days. After the formation of 2 true leaves and reaching a height of 5-6 cm, the seedlings are planted in separate containers, trying not to bury the necks of the seedlings into the ground.
