Sowing and germination

Seeds are sown on the surface of a moist, loose substrate without embedding in the soil. The container is covered with glass or film, and regular ventilation is carried out. The germination temperature is maintained at 22–26°C under diffuse lighting. Shoots appear in 3–6 weeks. Young plants are provided with good lighting and careful watering without stagnation of water.
