Sowing and germination

Seeds are sown on the surface of a moist, loose mineral substrate. The crops are covered with a transparent lid. Ventilation is provided 1–2 times a day, the temperature is maintained within 22–26°C. Shoots appear in 5–15 days. The maximum germination period is up to 25 days. Picking is carried out when the first thorns appear; the seedlings are transplanted into separate containers and gradually become accustomed to bright light.
