Sowing and germination

Seeds are sown superficially in a loose substrate of peat, sand and leaf soil in equal parts. Sowing is done in the spring, the seeds are lightly pressed into the surface, moistened with a spray bottle and covered with film. They germinate in the light, but without direct sun, at a temperature of 18–22°C. Regular ventilation and careful watering are required. Shoots appear in 15–30 days. The maximum germination period can be more than 45 days. After two true leaves appear, the seedlings are planted in separate containers.
