Sowing and germination

The seeds are small, dry, often equipped with thin wing-like structures. Before sowing, soaking for 8-12 hours in a weak solution of potassium permanganate with the addition of stimulants is allowed (SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminosol, Epin or Zircon). Sowing is carried out superficially or with minimal sprinkling in a sterile light mineral substrate based on sand with the addition of perlite or pumice. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 28-30°C, preferably with light bottom heating. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid overheating, waterlogging and drying out of crops. Shoots appear from 1-7 days, the minimum period is about a day, and the maximum possible period can exceed 21 days.
