Sowing and germination

Seeds are sown superficially or slightly buried, no more than 2 mm, in a loose sandy-peat substrate. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and kept at a temperature of 21–25°C in the light, but not in direct rays. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and complete drying out of crops. To avoid long-term retention of condensation, the container is ventilated 1-2 times a day for 10-15 minutes. Shoots appear within 12–25 days. The maximum germination period can be more than 40 days. When seedlings appear, the shelter is gradually removed.
