Sowing and germination

Before sowing, seeds are soaked for 48 hours in warm water. They are sown in a light sandy-peat substrate, buried 2–3 cm. The container is covered with film or glass to maintain moisture, and is regularly ventilated. Germination temperature is 25–30°C. Shoots appear in 30–60 days, the maximum possible germination period can be more than 90 days. Picking is carried out when 2–3 true leaves appear; seedlings require bright light and moderate watering.
