Sowing and germination

Seeds are sown in a light, moist substrate superficially or with a depth of up to 0.5 cm, covered with glass or film. The temperature is maintained at 22–26°C and constant humidity. Regular ventilation is mandatory. Shoots appear in 20–40 days, the maximum possible germination period can be more than 60 days. The division of rhizomes is carried out in the spring during transplantation; new segments quickly take root in greenhouse conditions.
