Sowing and germination

Seeds are sown in a loose substrate to a depth of 1–2 cm; pre-soaking in warm water for 24 hours accelerates germination. Crops are kept at a temperature of 22–26°C and regular humidity. The container is covered with film or glass. Shoots appear in 10–20 days, the maximum possible germination period can be more than 30 days. Vegetative propagation by cuttings is also very effective: shoots 1–2 m long quickly take root in the soil, forming hedges.
