Sowing and germination
is usually carried out by grafting lateral shoots formed on the grafted mother plants. Growing your own rooted plants from seeds is a difficult task, but interesting because the prices for mature plants are very high. Reproduction: Germination from seeds is recommended by the method of the Czech cactus grower Fleischer. Take a low glass container with a volume of about 350 ml, install a glass tube for watering in the center, and pour a loose, fine-grained, moist, but not damp substrate that does not contain humus and leaf soil onto the bottom. A mixture of approximately equal parts of sand, crushed red brick and peat is suitable. Then seeds treated with some fungicide are poured onto the soil and lightly pressed with the end of a disinfected pencil or glass rod.
