Sowing and germination

Before sowing, the seeds can be soaked for 2-4 hours in warm water or a weak solution of a biofungicide with the addition of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon. A loose, sterile seeding substrate is used based on leaf soil, a small amount of peat, washed sand and perlite. The seeds are sown to a depth of about 1-2 cm, the substrate is moistened and the container is placed in a greenhouse. Germination is carried out in bright, diffused light and a temperature of 24-30°C, without direct overheating under the sun. The soil is kept evenly slightly moist, but not wet. The crops are ventilated daily, condensation is removed, and if mold appears, the surface is carefully dried and treated with a biofungicide. Warmth and freshness of the seeds are especially important for neem. Seeds can germinate quickly, sometimes within 1-3 weeks, but the timing depends on temperature and humidity.
