Sowing and germination
Can be propagated both by seeds and by vegetation: cuttings, layering, grafting. In order for a seed to hatch, you need to soak it for several hours in a growth stimulator before planting, then plant it in the ground. You need to care for the seedlings in the same way as usual - loosen the soil, water and apply the necessary fertilizers. Two weeks after planting the seeds, they need to be replanted. To enhance the development of the root system, the tap root of the seedlings is pinched. This technique, called picking, promotes the formation of a well-developed fibrous root system. Picking is done when the seed has formed a root up to 1.5 cm, but the cotyledons have not yet opened, and also at the stage of opened cotyledons, before the appearance of 3-4 true leaves - green picking. When picking, the seedlings are transplanted, in a row by 5-7 cm, and between rows - 15-20 cm.
