Pieris JAPONICA

Sowing and germination

**Pieris JAPONICA - Japanese Pieris.** At first glance at Japanese pieris (Pieris japonica), it becomes clear that the plant is not quite ordinary: due to the brightly colored young shoots, this tall, evergreen, spreading shrub, capable of decorating any garden, looks exotic and attractive, therefore, immediately after the desire to see this plant in your garden, the question arises about the problems associated with its cultivation. ** This plant, like the vast majority of heathers, grows only on acidic (pH = 3.5-4.5), air- and moisture-permeable soil. High-moor peat or acidic soil purchased at a garden store are perfect for such soil.
