Sowing and germination

Before sowing, seeds are soaked in warm water for 12–24 hours. Sowing is done on the surface of a sandy-peat substrate with a slight depth of up to 3 mm. The containers are covered with film and placed in a warm place with a temperature of 22–28°C. Daily ventilation is carried out and moderate soil moisture is maintained. Shoots appear in 10–25 days, the maximum possible germination period can be more than 40 days. After the first true shoots appear, they are picked into separate pots. Young plants grow quickly, reaching 40–60 cm per year, and require regular lighting and light pinching to form a dense crown.
