Sowing and germination
Gotu Kola seeds can lie dormant in the ground for a very long time. Actually, until suitable conditions for their germination are formed. The best option would be to plant the seeds in greenhouse conditions, using soil that drains moisture well. When planting, lightly press the seeds into the ground, leaving them at a shallow depth relative to the surface. In this case, there is a chance that they will sprout in 30 to 90 days. If planted in the fall in an unheated greenhouse, more seeds will germinate, but germination time will increase to 6 months. After germination, you can transplant the plants into a wetland with difficult drainage. To do this, you need to dig a hole twice wider and deeper than the root of the plant, make a substrate of peat and compost (about 5 cm thick), and transfer the seedling there.
