Sowing and germination

Thilecodon seeds are very small, almost dusty, and ripen in dry multi-leaflets. It is not advisable to soak such seeds - they are easily lost in liquid and damaged, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. Scarification and stratification are not required. Sowing is carried out superficially, the seeds are almost not buried or only lightly sprinkled with fine, clean sand. A mixture of 1 part leaf soil or peat substrate and half part coarse sand is used, you can add vermiculite and pieces of charcoal. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon, covered with a film or placed in a greenhouse and germinated in the light, but not in direct sun, at a temperature of 18-23°C with daily ventilation.
