Sowing and germination

Seeds without prior soaking are sown in bowls superficially, almost without covering, or sprinkled with fine clean sand on top. For sowing, a substrate of 1 part leaf soil or peat soil and 1/2 part coarse sand is used; you can add 1/2 part vermiculite and pieces of charcoal. The seeds are moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 18-23°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Seeds germinate in 3-4 days. In the future, caring for the crops comes down to spraying with water and airing. Grown seedlings dive into bowls or pots at a distance of 1 cm from each other. Seedlings grow slowly and are very sensitive to waterlogging and dryness. **Special notes:** The seeds are very (!) small, like dust.
