Sowing and germination
Notocactus seeds are small, dark, ripen in dry fruits at the crown of the stem. Before sowing, they are disinfected by keeping them in a weak pink solution of potassium permanganate for 24 hours. Scarification and stratification are not required. Sowing is carried out in a substrate of completely rotted leaf soil, coarse sand and charcoal in a ratio of 1: 1: 0.5. The soil and bowls must first be disinfected. The substrate is not compacted; the seeds are laid out on the surface and lightly sprinkled with sand. You can moisturize by watering from below or from a spray bottle with a solution of a seed-safe growth stimulant according to its label directions, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant or seed-safe growth stimulant. The bowl is covered with glass or placed in a greenhouse and placed in a bright, warm place, but not under direct rays, maintaining a temperature of 25-27°C.
