Sowing and germination

Soaking in water before sowing is required. The seeds are soaked for a day in water at room temperature or in a solution of a growth stimulator: SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon, and then wrapped in a damp cloth for swelling for 3-5 days. Scarification and stratification are not required. Sowing is carried out in the spring, in separate pots with a sterile mixture of peat, sand and humus, to a depth of about 1 cm. The sowing is moistened with a spray bottle, covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse and germinated at a temperature of 22-26°C. Shoots appear in 2-4 weeks; individual seeds may linger longer. The crops are ventilated daily and condensation is removed. Seedlings grow quickly and already in the first year begin to thicken the base of the stem, so they are immediately transferred to deep pots without disturbing the root ball.
