Sowing and germination

Hildevintera seeds are small and dark. It is impractical to soak such small seeds, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. Scarification and stratification are not required. Sowing is carried out superficially, without embedding, on a sterile mineral substrate with a top layer of washed sand. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a seed-safe growth stimulant according to its label directions, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant or seed-safe growth stimulant, covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse and germinated in bright diffused light and a temperature of 22-28°C. Shoots appear after 1-3 weeks, unevenly. The crops are ventilated daily and condensation is removed: cactus seedlings are especially sensitive to stagnant moisture. Picking is carried out after noticeable strengthening of the seedlings.
