Sowing and germination

Bell seeds are very small and remain viable for up to four years. It is impractical to soak such small seeds, so the substrate itself is disinfected: before sowing, it is spilled with a weak solution of potassium permanganate and dried. Scarification and stratification are not required. For seedlings, seeds are sown in March or April in moist, loose soil and only lightly sprinkled with soil: they need light. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a solution of a growth stimulator: balanced plant vitamin supplement, natural plant growth stimulant, amino-acid plant fertilizer, anti-stress adaptogen solution or root development stimulant, covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse and germinated at a temperature of 18-20°C. Shoots appear in about 14 days. The crops are ventilated daily and condensation is removed.
